| Yeah... it was like the damn thing was cursed or something. The one good thing out of all of it was the parting out all the good stuff in and on that motor paid for my swap. Overall, it cost me about 8k to do the swap, including 4 k for a completely rebuilt aluminum block LS1 with mild porting, and a decent cam and springs. It was a lot cheaper because I did all the work of getting it in myself.
